LEGO Game Boy Set Brings Retro Gaming to Brick Life

The LEGO Game Boy model building set has officially been revealed—bringing Nintendo’s iconic handheld console to life in true LEGO form. This near 1:1 scale replica celebrates one of the most revolutionary devices in gaming history, making it the perfect nostalgic build for fans of retro tech and classic games.

Set to release on October 1, 2025, and available to pre-order now, the 421-piece buildable Game Boy includes authentic features such as the +Control Pad, A and B buttons, SELECT and START keys, contrast wheel, volume dial, and Game Pak slot.

Adding even more throwback charm, the set includes interchangeable brick-built Game Paks based on The Legend of Zelda™: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Land™. You can also swap out the screen display—choosing from a classic Nintendo start screen or gameplay visuals from either of the included games.

Designed for adults and nostalgic gamers, the LEGO Game Boy is part of the LEGO for Adults line. With detailed step-by-step instructions, it’s perfect for both seasoned builders and those new to LEGO.
